Painting

I applied a couple of coats of Krylon white sandable auto body primer. I suppose I could have simply used ordinary white paint for the first couple of coats. I chose white because I wanted the purple top coat to turn out as bright and even as possible.


It worked out okay, but I ended up using more purple than planned. The Testor's purple enamel that I used was metallic and I just didn't cover the rocket very evenly. It probably didn't help that it was pretty windy in my back yard when I applied the purple!
