Shipping Info All orders require two working days for processing. You will not be billed until your order ships. Shipping charges will be automatically calculated when you check out. Rates: USPS Parcel Post Ground: 7% of the total sale plus $4.75 per shipment, USPS Priority Mail: 6% of the total sale plus $5.50 per shipment, USPS Express Mail: 10% of the total sale plus $18.80 per shipment. Approximate Delivery Time: (in addition to 2 working days for processing) U.S. Postal Service - Parcel Post Ground delivery time is approximately 7-8 days. U.S. Postal Service - Priority Mail delivery time is approximately 2-3 days. (no engines) U.S. Postal Service - Express Mail delivery time is 1-2 days. (no engines) Special note for any order that contains rocket engines, including starter sets: Rocket engines can only be shipped via Parcel Post Ground. Therefore, we offer 2 options for shipping when rocket engines are part of an order. The entire order can be shipped via U.S. Postal Service-Parcel Post or, The engines can be removed from the order and shipped via U.S. Postal Service-Parcel Post while the rest of the order is shipped via your choice of expedited delivery service. You will be charged for both shipping charges (ground and expedited) Sales tax of 8.25% will be added to orders of Texas Residents and will be adjusted to actual local tax rate. International Shipping Info We ship to many international destinations. However, rocket engines and igniters are considered hazardous materials and because of slow delivery time, high cost, and complex export regulations, we do not ship them internationally. International Shipping Rates: Currently, our only international delivery option is USPS International Priority Mail. Charges are estimated based on this calculation: 10% of the total sale plus $22.50 per shipment. Your card will be charged actual shipping charges NOT the estimate shown on your invoice. Approximate International Delivery Time: (in addition to 2 working days for processing) is 6-10 days. Any customs duties, permits, etc. if applicable are the responsibility of the customer. About Model Rocketry Model rocketry is a legally permitted youth activity in every state in the nation and has maintained a higher proportional safety record than Little League Baseball, roller skating, bicycle riding, swimming, high school football and model airplanes. More than one million adults and youngsters now take part annually. Model rocketry is used in more than 15,000 elementary, junior high, and high school science curriculums across the country. Model rocketry has been endorsed by the National Aeronautics and Space Administration and has been approved by the U.S. Army and Air Force as a safe, worthwhile activity for service personnel and families. Youth groups including YMCA, 4-H clubs, Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts of America, the Civil Air Patrol, U.S. Space Camps and Shuttle Camps and the Young Astronauts program also utilize the unique educational qualities of model rocketry.
